I was thrilled to go to Café de Flore this afternoon to meet a newly friend of mine. She is très parisienne, having lived in Paris for awhile and speaks the language very well. A café frequented by such notable French writers in the post-war era, this cafe has unfortunately bear the resemblance of its next door neighbour, Les Deux Magots. Highly overpriced! However the ambiance is strikingly different from its rival, filled with young, très happening and a friend of mine noticed a famous star sitting opposite us. Well at least I've been there and done that right. We had a good time overall. :)
