This has got to be the best food market in Paris so far! Just a step away from Place de la Bastille, Marche Richard Lenoir is fun, uplifting and has plenty to offer for everyone. Over 50 meters long with tree lined stalls in each lines, there are fruits from strawberries to mangoes, cheeses, roasted chickens, charcuterie with meats and saucisson and a great selection of natural honey!
The tall Bastile monument as the landmark of the market. I can't believe some of the stall holders were even singing! and there are fountains and places to sit and eat while watching the crowds. A friendly market I'd say.
Libanaise crepes next to French crepereries. I chose the french galette, since I've tried a libanaise crepe before. I ordered the Jambon Fromage today for 3,40euro.
My galette with buckwheat flour being made. Yuuum can't wait...
Can you tell from the picture, the melting butter around the skin of the galette..oh my goodness it was so good, the crispiness of the buckwheat golden brown and the melting cheese...ahh perfect.
Bob Paella seem to be in a few food markets I've been to. Very popular indeed.
One good pain au cereale...I'm a sucker for bits and nuts and dried fruits...
Are those the reddest biggest hugest strawberries or what, to buy in a carton.
Churros fellow...
A nice marche d'alimentaire, I'd definitely come back here more often! Open every Thursday and Sunday from early morning to about 3pm approximately. :))))) happy.
